The Executive Assistant will provide support to the daily operations, fiscal, development, and programming functions of the agency. Strong communication, interpersonal,

Kids to Careers Specialist

The Kids to Careers Specialist will design curriculum, develop content, recruit speakers
and implement a program to provide youth with exposure to the variety of careers available within local businesses; help youth develop a voice about social issues/needs within the community encouraging them to take a lead in addressing those issues; and to ignite an entrepreneurial spirit within youth. The Kids toCareers Specialist will train adult volunteers to work with the youth; monitor the relationships between
youth and volunteers; and will also serve as a liaison with other agency and community partners to ensure BBBS families have opportunities to access resources and skills to meet their needs. Read more.

Healthy Home Connections Specialist

The Healthy Home Connections Specialist will provide match support to ensure child safety, positive impacts for youth, constructive and satisfying relationships between children and volunteers, and a strong sense of affiliation with BBBS on the part of volunteers; and will also serve as a liaison between community partners to ensure BBBS families have opportunities to access resources and skills to meet their needs. BBBS AmeriCorps Member

BBBS AmeriCorps Members help build capacity through recruiting, interviewing, screening, matching, and training mentors matched one-on-one with children facing adversity to improve their educational and behavioral outcomes.  Members will also mentor a child and organize Big/Little match events.  Our project includes a partnership with YC2 dedicated to improving the grades of Columbia students through tutoring. During the year, Members will develop career skills and will develop personally, expanding their understanding of social justice and experience with community service. Read more.
